JaysHorse 287 #1 Posted August 2, 2014 Pick this up today at a great price "free". Only missing bracket for rear axle. My question is will this fit my 518H with electric lift? Tried the toro site but that doesn't give me fit guide either by my tractor # or blade #. Thanks any and all help.
Tankman 3,518 #2 Posted August 2, 2014 (edited) May fit your Horse, need pic's or model number. The rear axle mount is easy enough to find or, I've made a few myself. Post a pic when you get a chance. http://www.partstree.com/parts/?lc=toro_consumer&mn=06-48BC02%2C+48%22+Snow%2FDozer+Blade%2C+1990&dn=810748R1-48R10002-0001 Edited August 2, 2014 by Tankman
Sparky-(Admin) 21,296 #3 Posted August 2, 2014 Looks like you scored a long frame 48" plow.....and yes it will fit your 518. The only issue you might have is whether the angle lever will clear the 518's muffler or not when its in the forward position.....probably an easy fix (bend it??) or buy another handle off one of our used parts guys. JaysHorse 287 #5 Posted August 2, 2014 Free is the best. Anyone got some specs or pics to make my own axle bracket?
oldredrider 2,548 #6 Posted August 2, 2014 Rear axle hitches are on Ebay all the time. Usually about $50.
JaysHorse 287 #7 Posted August 3, 2014 No fun in just buying it. I'd rather build it. But yes I have seen them on eBay.
JaysHorse 287 #8 Posted August 18, 2014 So I finally got around to making some brackets to mount my plow. Just curious to what normal blade height is when raised? Mine sits about 3" off the ground.
