Fun Engineer 859 #1 Posted July 23, 2014 Pulled most of the team out for a group shot before heading to our local show. I've been to Mentone and Pennsylvania this year so this is my first local show. Really looking forward to seeing some steam powered equipment at the thrashing demonstration and the various mills and shingle machines in operation. Sent from my tractor seat.

Fun Engineer 859 #3 Posted July 23, 2014 (edited) I felt the need for a little additional color Steve. OF COARSE AS SOON I START TO LOAD TRACTORS ON THE TRAILER WHICH ONE DO YOU THINK GIVES ME A HARD TIME? ONE OF THE GREEN ONES. Apparently they like to have their gas tanks at least a quarter full to run and the second one wouldn't fit on the trailer because of the snowblower. Oh well at least John Deere will be represented by one in my herd. Sorry about the caps don't know how that happened Sent from my tractor seat. squonk 41,016 #7 Posted July 23, 2014 Great pic! Nothing like steam! Being around it every day it's nice to go to a show and see it used for something besides keeping our absorption chiller running. In 2 weeks I'll be eatin corn on the cob cooked on an old Oil Pull tractor!

Fun Engineer 859 #9 Posted July 23, 2014 Looks great Dave! must be nice not having to drive cross country to a show! nice looking garage! Is that driveway all concrete? big bucks compared to blacktop but well worth it! Thirty minutes one way. LOVE IT! Thanks, the garage serves as our basement, tractor work shop, wife's jewelry studio and sometimes wife's car garage. I had to add a pole barn next to it to store the herd and other toys etc. I went through one winter up here show blowing most of the gravel from my driveway into the woods and across the street. Decided to put in concrete due to the cold winters and use of snow blowers. We just added another 600 square feet in front of the pole barn. It makes winter so much more enjoyable. So what did you tell the wife?
userj8670 68 #10 Posted July 23, 2014 What's the John deer without the blower? Nice herd!
Fun Engineer 859 #11 Posted July 23, 2014 (edited) Both of the Deere's are round fender 110's. They are both 1965's The one with the blower is all original. The other has a fast rattle can spray job. Good for 20+ feet Edited July 23, 2014 by Fun Engineer
