GM_Man 47 #1 Posted July 19, 2014 Hi everyone, I just recently purchased my first real Wheel Horse (I've owned a couple of vertical shaft models in the past). It's a 1056 with a 12hp Kohler replacement engine and what looks to be a newer deck. I also got a plow and wheel weights, but the plow is missing the bracket that goes on the rear axle.

GM_Man 47 #13 Posted July 20, 2014 Thanks for the warm welcome everybody! Very nice tractor, Ive seen that somebody is makeing reproduction axle brackets and often list them on ebay. Not a hard item to find used either, good luck with your first real wheel horseI'll have to look into that. I didn't realize they were reproducing them. Very nice Horse! The Kohler is a great engine, I've owned a number of 'em. Yeah I like the Kohlers too. This one's going to have to get a ring job done though. It smokes pretty good under heavy load or when I go from high to low idle fast.
