Racinbob 11,034 #5 Posted July 17, 2014 I can't say I'm a fan of the white walls but it's a cool part of the history. I recently received the Mecum 'catalog' with the 1968 Shelby-Wallis Indy turbine car. One of the pictures was of Ken Wallis sitting in the car with two Wheel Horses with the white walls behind him. I tried my best to copy and post it here but it wouldn't let me. So I'll try this link: ww.mecum.com/docs/?documentID=1 It's on the third page. The 'ww' seems correct and not three

Wheel-N-It 2,968 #13 Posted July 21, 2014 Its $250 dollars Craig. Someone had a set of those WW tires at the big show for $325. As far as I know they did not sell. Then again they looked like they had never been cleaned or Armor All'd or taken care of in the least.
GM_Man 47 #14 Posted July 21, 2014 I'd go get that if I were you. If I didn't have to pay for school I would. That's my number one priority right now.
Ken B 3,164 #15 Posted July 28, 2014 Indy wh.jpgHere is a try at the picture. I like the red wheels with the hubcaps! Just add some streamers! Man that is one totally cool picture! I love how the Wheel Horse's look like they BELONG in the pits. Try to picture a Cub Cadet or a John Deere in that photo instead of a Wheel Horse, YUK!!!
