Jake Kuhn 1,554 #5 Posted July 15, 2014 I don't know a whole lot about these, but from what I've heard that is probably a 1054a with the wide front tires. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong. By the way...
JohnsFatherinLa 0 #6 Posted July 15, 2014 WOW Thanks for the quick responces Im further ahead now anyway. A friend gave me this tractor and said it needed carb work. I cleaned the air cleaner ( Oiul Type) and it runs great. He said the hydralics never worked for him. I removed the cover and found no pully? I think its a 4 or 4 1/2 in but th3e tractor is now at the cottage thats why Id like to get a manual
pacer 3,168 #7 Posted July 15, 2014 Oh my! thats sweet lookin! and with the deck and a tiller too! -- as mentioned either the 953, 1054 or 1054A, which were in the mid 1960's, and in what looks to be very original condition!

JohnsFatherinLa 0 #9 Posted July 15, 2014 Thanks everyone It came with a mower deck not sure of the width but it's 3 blades a snow blower a plough a harrow and a disk attachment The motor serial number confirms its a 1965 so I now am looking for a link to a 1054a owners manual if one exists. Thanks again for all the input I think I will try to restore it after joining this site Bob
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,026 #10 Posted July 16, 2014 Go into the manuals and do a search for 1054A. When the results show up change the "Sort by" to "Title and then change to Ascending Order. Garry
