kudzu3 323 #26 Posted August 21, 2014 Hope to get mine today. Can someone tell me the best and easiest way to remove the old lining? Thanks
rmaynard 15,721 #27 Posted August 21, 2014 Most times the band just falls out. But if it didn't, use a putty knife to slide under it to remove it. Be sure to get all the rust and residual glue off before applying the new glue.

WheelHorse79 271 #31 Posted October 19, 2014 Hi. I see that your auctions have ended. Do you still have one for sale? I just found out today I need one for my 1045. Thanks!

rtfbg 744 #33 Posted October 19, 2014 FYI ... I bought lining from McMaster Carr, and industrial adhesive to install it. Between the materials, shipping and my labor, I figure I have about $40 in my band. Wish I saw this post before I started!!!
rmaynard 15,721 #34 Posted October 19, 2014 Now you know for the future. I am probably going to do another run of about 20 or 30 linings before the years end.
Desko 610 #35 Posted October 19, 2014 What kind of adhesive do you use to stick these on I know you can use silicone but what else?
WheelHorse79 271 #36 Posted October 19, 2014 I've used 2-part Epoxy with good results.
rmaynard 15,721 #37 Posted October 19, 2014 If I am in a hurry and don't want to wait for silicone to set up, I use GOOP all purpose adhesive.
