John Mathews 0 #1 Posted June 29, 2014 (edited) Hi I am rebuilding a Toro Lawn Tractor 227-5. ID No R217K502 10152 with a cutting deck E542xR01 20013. So far so good. Starting to repair the Deck. But I cannot get the cutting deck to lift flat, it wants to nose down. The cable that lifts the nose, I think has stretched and already has 5 washers cut and fitted onto the cable, but this may have been the answer to cables that where supplied too long.( article I found on the Web ) There is no adjustment left. Does any one know what the cable should be adjusted to and is this my problem. Any one know the part No for high lift 14 ½ “ cutting blades. Any help or link to a setup manual will be gratefully appreciated Thanks John. Edited June 29, 2014 by John Mathews

John Mathews 0 #6 Posted June 30, 2014 Garry. It does list my id number. But not the same system. Mine lifts at the rear at one centre point operated by the left hand lever. the lever on the right hand side on the deck angles the wheels down and pulls on the cable to lift the nose. Thanks for the link. John
