GrumpyOldBastige 1 #1 Posted June 29, 2014 On my 312-8, the clutch grabs right at the top of the pedal. At first, it grabbed gently; now, it feels like someone slipped a triple-puck race clutch in. If I'm not careful, I'm liable to pop a wheelie. I mow in 2 High. Previous owner said drive belt might need replaced, but I would think an old belt wouldn't cause this issue. Ideas? stevasaurus 22,882 #5 Posted June 30, 2014 I like to wipe all the pulley grooves with mineral spirits also. If the belt is worn, that dust likes to stick in those grooves...thus grabbing the belt. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
