Molon_Labe 731 #1 Posted June 27, 2014 I recently purchased my first Horse, a 1978 C-161 Automatic and am tickled to death with it. I am 63 years old and after the winter we had here in Indiana last year decided that it was time to get something capable of cleaning snow off the driveway in order to save wear and tear on my back (2 surgeries, rods, screws and spacers, etc). I found my WH on CL with a 42" blade as well as a 42" mower deck and immediately contacted the owner, a local doctor. He had purchased the tractor in 1981 from an employee and let his mother use it until her passing 5 years ago.It was far from perfect with lots of bumps and bruises, but it runs great. This is a worker not a show tractor. As a young man I admired the quality of these little tractors and now I am lucky enough to own one and hopefully will own more. Thanks for such a great site!! Molon_Labe 731 #10 Posted June 28, 2014 I really appreciate the warm welcome everybody. I'll try to attach a few pictures. I replaced the front tires and wheels with 4.0-8 tri-ribs and 3.75 in rims. The ag tires are going on this afternoon with some help from my oldest son if the rain holds off long enough. While the rear wheels are off I have to change out the left axle seal which is seeping so guess I'll change out the right side while I'm at it.
