Racinbob 11,259 #4 Posted June 28, 2014 I don't think your transmission is any different. They made a reduction setup back then that was an add on. It's a bit hard to tell but I believe that's what you have. Removing the reduction unit is a piece of cake.

fourwheels0 191 #6 Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) well i guess i'll pull the belt guard and check it out. thanks guys. after a quick search it looks like the speed reducer was required if you were going to use a 24 inch tiller. fourwheels0 191 #7 Posted July 3, 2014 ok what is the stock size rear pulley and stock belt size on a 753. i put on a 4 inch pulley and 70 inch belt and the belt is too long. i want it back to stock.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,107 #8 Posted July 3, 2014 The original # 1611 pulley is 4" OD and the drive belt is 1/2" x 70" for the 753. The engine drive pulley # 1621 is 2-1/2" OD. The 1623 idler pulley is 3-1/16" OD. Garry
fourwheels0 191 #9 Posted July 3, 2014 well somethings not right. rear pulley is 4 inch. belt is 69 3/4 inch idler is stock. front pulley is the stock 2 1/2 inch double pulley. i got it to work but had to use part of the gear reduction unit to take up the extra slack in the belt. i can't upload the pic to photo bucket.i don't know why it won't upload from my phone. Is it possible the 62-2093 serial number is missing some digits? Most are like 62-22113 in 1963.Garry
