Geochurchi 3 #1 Posted June 17, 2014 Hi All, I have a 13-38XL Mdl 71185,I have adjusted the brakes before as per the owners manual with no problems,today I had to adjust them and the adjustment nut was quite tight,got maybe a 1/2 turn but still no much braking ,when I went to mow after about 10 minutes smoke was coming out from somewhere underneath,not the belt, I backed the nut off a bit and the smoke stopped,but no brakes.
