tunahead72 2,448 #2 Posted June 14, 2014 Not sure what kind of tape you're referring to... What tractor are you talking about?
rmaynard 15,719 #3 Posted June 15, 2014 If you are referring to the edge protector on the dash housing where the hood contacts it, I use the fuzzy part of a self adhesive Velcro strip. It can be applied to either the dash or the underside of the hood. Sent from my Moto G using Tapatalk
squonk 41,635 #4 Posted June 15, 2014 (edited) McMaster-Carr sells it. It's like a door edge moulding. The exact name escapes me. Plastic & rubber edge moulding with a metal core Edited June 15, 2014 by squonk
Trouty56 567 #5 Posted June 15, 2014 Squonk...are you thinking of trim-lok????
kudzu3 323 #6 Posted June 15, 2014 Yes, I am talking about the area where the hood contacts the dash, shoulda been more clear, sorry. The tractor is a B 80. Maynard, the Velcro sounds like a good idea, I may try that. Squonk, I will also check out the McMaster Carr product, thanks all!
rmaynard 15,719 #7 Posted June 15, 2014 Lowe's sells the Velcro in 3/4" wide strips in black and white. I apply it to the underside of the hood.
Wishin4a416 2,191 #8 Posted June 15, 2014 If you have an old seat laying around, you can use the edge banding from that.
