tbybest 11 #1 Posted June 11, 2014 A small local Wheel Horse and Lawn Boy dealer. A young boy 12 yrs old stopped in and asked for a job. The owner said come back next year when you're 13. He did. He learned Wheel Horses inside and out. He could tune up a Lawn Boy guaranteed to start on the first pull. That shop owner has past away and that boy was me 45 years ago. I will re-do a horse in honor of Mr. Fay Parrott of Parrott' Sales & Service.

tbybest 11 #5 Posted June 11, 2014 I have a 1076 w/ Kohler that needs rebuilt. I bought off EBay w/ a 48" mower. I don't remember ever putting 48" on a 10hp. Engine rebuid, mower rebuild, paint, it should look like new. Might need tires.

953 nut 54,999 #14 Posted June 13, 2014 A 48" deck was standard equipment on the 953 which is a 9.6 HP tractor and they work very well. Keep us informed as you go along and remember,
