dclarke 4,032 #1 Posted June 6, 2014 My son in law's Mother just dropped this off at the house for me. Her husband's Father recently passed away and this brochure was found in his files.

stevasaurus 22,683 #7 Posted June 7, 2014 Denny, copies of those pages should be posted in the Memorabilia Section...check it out. Very cool. Notice, the guys are not wearing ties in these photos...kind of time dates it. Makes you wonder what they would be wearing now in the pamphlet.
squonk 41,010 #8 Posted June 7, 2014 (edited) I've always noticed the guys in those brochures always have dress pants and LOAFERS on! Never see a work boot. Same thing in the snowblower pics. The guy plowing snow looks way too happy plowing. Kinda looks like a younger version of someone I know! And the wives are in the back ground smiling and waving with a glass of iced tea in there hands. Edited June 7, 2014 by squonk
squonk 41,010 #9 Posted June 7, 2014 These pics crack me up! I took them out of a couple of brochures I have: "Hey honey, How's my garden coming?" Hey honey, Are those mulch bags heavy?"
dclarke 4,032 #10 Posted June 7, 2014 They are funny, Mike.... Wonder if Steve still has his white belt? You know he had one.
squonk 41,010 #11 Posted June 7, 2014 (edited) Now that's funny Denny! I was going to make a comment on that pic like, "Here's Steve in his younger days" but I thought I'd be nice! Probably had "The Doors" playing on that hood mounted radio! Edited June 7, 2014 by squonk
shorts 182 #12 Posted June 7, 2014 What? you guys don't have a white belt? Probably don't have a double knit leisure suit either.
squonk 41,010 #13 Posted June 7, 2014 I used to be in a Fire Dept band called "The Savannah Cellar Savers" We had a white belt with the holes all the way around. Does that count?
Terry M-(Moderator) 2,175 #14 Posted June 7, 2014 They are funny, Mike.... Wonder if Steve still has his white belt? You know he had one. Ya, I thought the white belt was a bit much....But , is that a wheelhorse radio mounted to the tractor in that pic? I wonder if thats something you could buy for you mowers back in the day?? oh-well... I think it's so cool looking at these old pics....Thanks again for posting them.. stevasaurus 22,683 #16 Posted June 8, 2014 For the record...I have never had a white belt or a leisure suit...or white loafers. I still listen to the DOORS though. That guy in the picture was probably listening to Smooth Jazz. :)
