ShotgunTimmy 1 #1 Posted May 30, 2014 I'm new here and I apologize if I missed somewhere on here if it's already been discussed, but I recently purchased a 607. It's been stripped down (no deck) and only came with the plow assembly (which is why I bought it originally). But after I started looking at it, I thought, might as well touch up the paint...might as well put some new rear tires on it... might as well repaint the whole thing haha but my question is, somebody had put a Snapper seat on it that's cracked and holds water like a sponge. I bought an old metal pan seat I want to put on it, but if I bolt the seat directly down to the fender pan, that seems like a bumpy ride in my future, but if I buy the u-shaped spring for the seat, that's going to raise the seat height up 4". I guess I'm looking for an opinion on what you guys have seen or done. I'm not doing a full restore or anything, just giving an old tractor a face lift. ShotgunTimmy 1 #5 Posted May 31, 2014 I'll post a before and after pic after I'm done. Like I said it's just a re-paint with new tread on the rears. But man...once you start, you can't stop!
