72 Raider Headlight Lens - Any Experiences With This?

There are headlight lenses for sale on eBay from a hardware store.

 

The seller told me it's a new repo that has the decal on the backside (I guess the original was paint).

 

Has anyone bought one of these and if so, did you think it was quality enough for a restoration?  Just asking if it looks original.

The most recent ones that my neighbor got from Toro has the decal on the back, not painted like the originals. It didn't look bad, and he used it, but he wasn't happy with it.

Check with Dave at Dave's Tractor World. He has a lot of NOS parts and has been selling some lenses. I don't know if they are the old style or new.

I have only TWO remaining.....ORIGINAL lens for 60s & 70s Wheelhorse.  They are used and 98% FLAWLESS.
