Picked up 3 D250's, a really nice one, one that needs love and engine work and one for parts. These are actually the first one's I have ever seen and got all 3.

Congratulations, I would love to have a D250, I think that they're so cool.  I have no idea where I would keep the thing, but would love one none the less.  Beautiful machine you got there!

3!? That's awesome! Enjoy them! It seems like all the D250's are coming out this year.  Seen a bunch for sale/talked about.

Where did you find those? I only live about 40 miles from you. Since I sold off all my horses I don't watch CL much.

Actually I need a Renault engine but it needs to be bigger than the one in a D-250. Engine blew up in my Case 1830 skid steer. It had a Renault/ Continental 32 hp. in it. Try finding one of those. Any help out there?

Renault and Continental. Enough to give anyone the Shivers!

I was suprised at the size of the D250. 3 or these would not fit on a 17' car hauler. There are some odd things about the 250's. The electrical system is one, its a mess. Both will be simplified and cleaned up. I am going to fab a new fender pan from light guage diamond plate for the one that runs. I hope to get 2 nice tractors out of the 3. Looks do'able so far. I will see about parts when this happens. One engine needs a complete go through. I ran a search and found a member here that had these. I got lucky and he let um all go. I will post as I go with the rebuild which won't happen till fall. I am sure there will be a million questions I will come up with. Till then they are resting comfortably :-)  Walt

Hey, that front one looks like one from Portland show!! Get them there? Think there was more then one for sale and you ARE in close range looks like???  I posted pix of them on GTTalk forum. Have posts of three days of Portland on there. I was told the engines are NOT the car engines, but industrial ones and harder to get parts than the cars.

Yeah, they are quite big, aren't they? Mine with the loader wouldn't fit in our 5x9 trailer, which I know isn't an enormous trailer, but still isn't too small. We had to take the bucket off. It didn't fit by like 6 inches, but oh yes is the electrical system a mess. I plan on going through mine real soon, as well. Good luck on your workings! You should be able to get two good tractors, like you say! :)
