I am looking to add a tool box /storage on my 312-8.  Was there one offered as a WH accessory?  If anybody has built one, would you care to share?

I dont think there was ever one offered once the tractors went to fender mounted fuel tanks.

You will probably have you mount it off the back of the fender, there isn't a whole lot of available space on these tractors :)

Although, :techie-eureka:  I did see recently someone bought a tractor with a square cake pan just bolted to the hood... Thats always an option. :eusa-whistle:

If you're not using the tow bar, bolt a tool box to it.  :eusa-think:

Paint it red and throw it at the fender...see if it sticks

I was thinking about this a while back for one my RJ s which I use without the tool box and fenders since I like that look. It's a pain however since it has the rope start and nowhere to put it. I decided to get a leather motorcycle tool pouch and hang it off the back of seat.

would like to see a pic of the leather tool pouch ??????

I have seen the grey fergy toolboxes used on garden tractors , they bolt them to the top of the seat fender or to the side of the belt cover

I too have toyed with the idea of a toolbox, just big enough for a spanner or two and a tow pin. I was thinking maybe a petty cash tin mounted between the clutch and main lift handle, ( allowing for travel for both ). It would look 'right', but it may rattle a bit.   :tools-hammerdrill:  :)

I am now closer to you Neil than I am to my RJ. Will get a photo when I get back.

I grabbed one of those at a flea market last year. I hope to mount it to my trailer to tore tie downs.

Going into Fall, I'm looking to lighten the load a bit, and decided to sell my Mojack Pro.

This rig makes it easy to lift the front wheels of mower or garden tractor to sharpen blades, lube, adjust, or repair.
It's not shiny new anymore, but it's complete and functional.

Might be able to get more on eBay, but thought I would offer it to friends here first.

Sold, I think.  I'll re-post if the deal falls through.

Pretty soon, the tractors will have a place for everything and everything in it’s place!

We put up another section of racking and it will allow for some custom pallets at 66” long and 44” wide to store tractors 3-wide in the racking.  The closest green upright is 9’ tall, it’ll be a shell for the buggy to rest on top of

I have a small problem with my garage being a little too full of tractors every fall. This year my plan is to build a rack big enough to store 4 tractors on the floor with room for 4 more overhead.

If anyone on Redsquare has anything like that already in service, pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Ok guys, now that we are all stuck indoors for the most part, an i recently sold my house and i am between houses, lets see those garages. This thread is not an i spy contest keep those comments to yourself. I want to see your garage/shop and see how you best "use" your space. I am only doing this for space efficient, cool ideas and how big is your space roughly, again NO POINTING OUT STUFF ON SHELVES!
