Hammerhead 816 #17 Posted May 5, 2014 Good looking 1968 Lawn Ranger! Good job on the restoration! I like the back tires too. The seat looks good but they had a different seat for 1968, it is probably hard to find that style though, it had the seperate back rest on them and the WH logo too. Cool little machine for sure! The 1968 Lawn Ranger had a few one year only parts on it like the 3 spoke steering wheel and the decals on the side of the hood and the seat I mentioned. squonk 40,737 #20 Posted May 5, 2014 Looks awesome! Smear the entire area of the hood letters with rubber cement. Let dry. Rub the cement off of the flat part of the paint. Paint the letters with your choice of color. Let dry. Then rub off the remaining cement. done. Cheap liquid masker. If this crotchety untalented old fool can do it, anybody can!
