squonk 41,010 #1 Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) It was a great day and the rain held off. The Auction service did a fantastic job getting through all the stuff. Owner bought new batteries for all the runners so they started. I thought most of the stuff went high. $200 for a beat up 520 roller with no motor a half torn apart trans a swept axle but no gear reduction. A view from the end of the mower rows with my B-I-L haming it up! I did score a decent RD deck. Battle of the Titans! Elvis, Here's your sign! boovuc 1,090 #2 Posted May 3, 2014 Hey Squonk! I wondered how the bidding would go on those tractors. I would bet there were quite a few folks there and if anyone drove any great distance, they weren't going home without some iron! That means higher prices! Glad the rains held off as long as they did. An hour and a half due south, we didn't get any rain until around 4PM.

Shuboxlover 478 #4 Posted May 4, 2014 What'd that lil round hood bring...what was it?
squonk 41,010 #5 Posted May 4, 2014 What'd that lil round hood bring...what was it? If you mean the one in the pic I don't remember what that one brought. It was a 552 that sat on top of a tall tree stump for years. Steering was locked up tight on it. The 520 chassis right next to it had the swept axle and good tires but no gear red, steering, seat, fenders or engine. It brought $
AMC RULES 37,125 #6 Posted May 4, 2014 Interesting back rest there on that little 552.

bmsgaffer 2,043 #8 Posted May 6, 2014 I went by the auction site today and all the front blades and snow blowers went for scrape. must have 8 to 10 of each. Thats very sad, I would have grabbed a blade or two for scrap value.
squonk 41,010 #9 Posted May 6, 2014 I'm willing to bet that scrap price the buyer paid was for all the junk and the bid was higher than you think judging by how high most of the stuff went for. I looked at those blades. There weren't any great prizes in any of them. Ben sittin in the ground a while.
