Ken B 3,164 #1 Posted April 28, 2014 I picked up this Suburban 400 fresh out of Stevebo's private stock at his meet and greet this past weekend. I have been looking for an original Suburban that is nice enough to leave original for a long time now. Steve gave me a SMOKIN deal on it, thanks Steve! All I plan on doing is replacing the decals on the hood.. Today I gave it a good cleaning and put the mower deck on. She runs good! Ken B 3,164 #14 Posted April 30, 2014 Looks like an adjustment was made to turn the muffler down.... Yes sir, a little heat and a big pipe wrench and I was able to get the pipe turned down so it wasn't hitting the hood. Today it gets an oil change, new points and condenser and a governor adjustment..Its not over revving but its sluggish too kick in...
VinsRJ 721 #15 Posted April 30, 2014 You need a fender tool box option... LOL!
Ken B 3,164 #16 Posted April 30, 2014 Steve did in fact give me a complete tool box and fender assembly in the deal. The paint on the tool box assembly doesn't quite match the patina on the rest of the tractor which is the only reason I haven't put it on yet.. I will need to add some age to the assembly. To be quite honest, I feel guilty even taking the tool box and fenders for the price that I paid for this tractor...
