sdenison 0 #1 Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) Hello, I have a problem with my 211-4 and figured I'd ask the experts. Occasionally, my 211-4 shifter locks up and won't shift gears. I put the clutch all the way in, wiggle it, and still can't shift. sometimes if I let the clutch back out and go for a minute it frees up, sometimes it doesn't. I drives fine, and except for the occasional lock-up it runs great. The interesting thing is that every time it locks up, if I turn off the tractor, as soon as I the engine stops, it shifts freely. I thought this might mean that the idler pulley needs to be adjusted, but I checked when it is locked up & the clutch pedal is fully depressed the belt is not moving. Any ideas on a fix? Thanks!
