meadowfield 2,650 #2 Posted April 22, 2014 Welcome Gary, you've come to the right place! It's likely to be circa 1979, can you locate the ID plate and share the model number? That helps with manuals, etc. Though we've had a few of those, Briggs 11hp, foote 6 sp box. Good little tractors they are... Looks relatively intact, does it run? Gwtaylor 1 #3 Posted April 22, 2014 Hi It's still in the yard where I saved it from the scrap heap as it was about to get weighed in as scrap I pick it up tomorrow morning so I'll have more pictures then and to see if it starts. Main problem rear axle it's snapped don't know how or why it snapped but I'm assuming a rear axle for one is going to be hens teeth?

Main problem rear axle it's snapped don't know how or why it snapped but I'm assuming a rear axle for one is going to be hens teeth? That flavour axle is tricky, you say snapped... Both wheels look intact and inline. Sometimes the circlip on the inside of the tranny can be broken off causing the axle to slide out. It might just need some tlc - unless of course the casing itself is broken :o
