Desko 608 #1 Posted April 21, 2014 I was scrolling through partstree in the wheel horse section and seen they had a 518-he that was made in 1988 I have no clue about this tractors existence or what the e stands for can any of you shed some light on this. Thanks
boovuc 1,090 #2 Posted April 21, 2014 No such animal as an HE that I am aware of. It doesn't show up on our lists nor is there a partstree listing for it.

Desko 608 #4 Posted April 21, 2014 If I could figure out picture up loads I'd show you lol but its almost at the bottom of partstrees listings it just caught my eye and I thought I'd investigate. 518He was a European model...... Is there any pictures of the tractor and does the E stand for European?
Martin 2,131 #5 Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) don't have any pics, but I've come across the 416 European or 'International' models before. 3319-162 1997 416-8e IPL.pdf search the manuals section, there are 518e manuals in there....... 3328-949 1988 518-He IPL.pdf and I'm sure some of the guys from across the pond have some pics..... JackC 617 #6 Posted April 21, 2014 It is a 518H with some variations in the operation and safety related decals only for the German, Dutch, or French languages
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,026 #7 Posted April 21, 2014 The 518-H models for the North American market used the Eaton 700 with manual lift. The export models with E1 and R1 in the model number used the Eaton 1100 with hydraulic lift. Garry
