I was scrolling through partstree in the wheel horse section and seen they had a 518-he that was made in 1988 I have no clue about this tractors existence or what the e stands for can any of you shed some light on this. Thanks

No such animal as an HE that I am aware of. It doesn't show up on our lists nor is there a partstree listing for it.

If I could figure out picture up loads I'd show you lol but its almost at the bottom of partstrees listings it just caught my eye and I thought I'd investigate.

Is there any pictures of the tractor and does the E stand for European?

don't have any pics, but I've come across the 416  European or 'International' models before.

search the manuals section, there are 518e manuals in there.......

and I'm sure some of the guys from across the pond have some pics.....

It is a 518H with some variations in the operation and safety related decals only for the German, Dutch, or French languages

The 518-H models for the North American market used the Eaton 700 with manual lift.

The export models with E1 and R1 in the model number used the Eaton 1100 with hydraulic lift.
