Theroundhousernr 589 #1 Posted April 17, 2014 Trying to clean up my acre lot a little at a time. This home was a foreclosure I bought a year ago to date. While trying to remodel , I am also trying to clean up the yard the PO was less then enthusiastic about taking care of. The Horses are a big help and make life alot easier. Making a big brush pile today and burning some. Next weekend I am bringing up the John Deere A with a pto chipper on the back to get rid of more big stuff. The Gt14 is a pushing monster for its age. She is a little worn out but still has plenty of pep. I hope this summer to restore it from ground up., Mean while , I am putting it to work with the rest of the horses. Also, got the deck and hubcaps cleaned up and installed on the 520H today. Just thought I would share.....

Theroundhousernr 589 #8 Posted April 18, 2014 (edited) How about a picture of the "A" with the chipper on it? I will be sure to get some photos of that. I have not seen the chipper yet. A friend of mine knows a farmer that bought this tow behind chipper at a sale. It just sits along a tree line in a field. The farmer does not really use it and I guess just bought it because the price was right. My friend just used it about a week ago and said it works good. So we shall see. We have the local Old Time Plow Boys tractor show coming up so when I drive the deere to the show, I will swing through and pick up the chipper. Hey...I wanna play too. He Craig. Haul your new loader horse over here. There is plenty for everyone lol. I did some more but didnt get a chance to take pictures. I will take some tomorrow and post them. It amazes me the piles of brush I was pushing with this lil ole wheel horse. Just kept on going and snapping big branches as it went. Loved the sound of snapping and crushing debri as the governor opened up. I could add wieght yet too but then I might get into to much trouble. Might just pushed down the hole woods.....
