CRE1992 135 #20 Posted April 15, 2014 (edited) Thanks guys! I really appreciate it. Sorry haven't been on much. I have been very busy working and with finishing up my last semester at college. Not to mention the many other things that are going on in my life. There is definitely not enough hours in the day! I have not exactly been locating anything lately I haven't had the time. Plus I will be moving this summer as we have to sell my family's farm. Instead of collecting tractors due to moving and space issues, instead I have been buying firearms before more restrictions are put in place. But I've gotten some new additions in the last couple of months. I will share some pictures with you. (no firearms pictures) I got a new truck: Its a Chevrolet Crew Cab 2500 Diesel which I installed an Amsoil Bypass filter set up, and I run Amsoil motor oil. Duke. I got a new puppy:Shes a royal pain in the ass. She is a rottweiler pitbul mix, she is 5 months old and weighs almost 50 pounds. Shes actually a great dog but she thinks shes in charge, already breaking that train of thought and she doesn't like it. She likes to play rough with my lab who is 12 years old so we have to separate her on occasion. Thanks! Great lookin truck what kind of fuel mileage are you getting with that just curious good looking dog also.happy belated birthday I get good fuel economy with that truck. Very amazing considering its stock with the exceptions of a bypass oil filter set up. The best I have gotten was 25.4 mpg on a 100 mile trip. I average between 20-22mpg on the highway with the cruise control set at 66. With the cruise control set at 80 I can get 18mpg on the highway. I drove from Central NJ almost to the end of Long Island and got 20.1 miles per gallon for the whole 215 mile round trip. If I baby it in town I can get up to 16-17mpg but typically 15.5mpg (in town). She will undoubtedly run out of fuel and traction before power also. Towing on the highway varies upon what is being towed by weight, wind resistance number of axles and hitch set up. But I would say typically between 10-17 mpg when towing. 13-16mpg on average. I have put 7,000 miles on the truck in a little over 4 months. I have to rotate and balance the tires and get an alignment.
