Depending on the year of your C-125 the early 1980 version have the Sundstrand transmission (same as the C-120) about mid year they changed to an Eaton model 11 transmission. Completely different animal and most will say more heavy duty and more reliable but there are fans on both sides of this debate on here and it really boils down to condition. A dead give away is to park both tractors side by side and view them from the rear if the oil filters are on opposite sides then the C-125 has an Eaton same side and they are both Sundstrand. Also look at the model number tag on the hood stand below the steering wheel. The Eaton versions will be model number 05-12KE01 the Sundstrand will be an 05-12KS01.
