jeff w 4 #1 Posted April 12, 2014 Update> Couple months back I had a dog point screw holding my shift leverin tranny break. I had a hell of a time getting it out, but FINALLY succeeded!!!!! Now next question> tranny is/was in 2ND gear, therefore, when I install lever/screw/jamnut..what do I need to be most aware of so that it iz done correctly? Thank you!! chazm 413 #2 Posted April 12, 2014 (edited) Good deal in getting set screw out Now align the shift rails ,may need to use a flat blade s/d to pop them in place, install shifter & new set-screw. Turn set screw in till it stops ,Back out 1/2 turn, & lock the nut. Run threw the shift pattern to see if all is OK ...
