jerrell 1 #1 Posted September 15, 2008 :banghead: trying to get my engine ordered and and have a question of the length of the pto shaft or crank shaft, i want to order the honda 18 hp it has a 1 inch X 2 and 29/32 inch shaft, my question is that long enough for the drive pulley and the pto pulley to be attached, i see most engines have a 3 inch shaft, :USA: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Duff 206 #2 Posted September 15, 2008 I'd defer to TT or one of the other pros on this, but my personal thinking is 3/32 (or a smidge over a sixteenth) shouldn't make too much difference as long as the diameter and keyways mate up.
