squonk 41,397 #1 Posted March 24, 2014 I know there was another thread about axle keys. It was mentioned that a # 22 1/4' x 1 3/8" flat bottom key was used. For information only. That key does fit into a axle out of a C 161 hydro. I have my 73 12 8 spd apart and that takes a # 15 1/4' x 1" flat bottom key . McMaster-Carr # 98525A170 for the high-strength key.
