brian pa 2 #1 Posted March 17, 2014 Hello Just picked up my first wheel horse a 314a model. I'm thinking its a 1985 after a little research but not sure. Its in pretty good shape both mechanically and body wise. I plan on taking down to metal and repainting at this point. It has 1200 hours But runs solid and no smoke. It has the kohler cast iron series engine with the hydro transmission. Does anybody know what the parts availability for this tractor is like? Its gonna be a worker at this point. Wheel-N-It 2,968 #25 Posted March 20, 2014 Thats gonna make you a fine tractor! Be sure to take pics as it comes apart. Dont worry if you dont have a huge tool box full of tools. If you have 7/16, 1/2, and 9/16 sockets and wrenches, ratchet with a short and long extension, a couple of phillips head screwdrivers, and pair of pliers, you have 90% of the tools needed to take a Wheel Horse completely apart.
