John deere 112 with loader

Recommended Posts

Austin860

I'm new to john deere, but I got a 1112 with a loader and some rear weights. I need more weight in the back tho. I'm making a weight box, and I'm wondering what's the best thing to fill it with? Thanks

I would fill it with either gravel or better yet solid concrete blocks you can get at Home Depot. Those are your two best options for weight/cost ratio. Did you do the trade for your D180?? You could bring the John Deere to the meet and greet so long as it is parked in the proper location...... lol

Keep an eye on c list for weights. I've bought barbell weights 250lbs for 100 bucks

Thanks, how do I post photos from my mobile? And yes Steve, unfortunately the d has left. But I'm really liking this john deere. I'm either filling the box with concrete or small gravel. I'll keep you updated, thanks

To find out more info on your "new" John Deere, try www.weekendfreedommachines.com.  It's the place to go for the older JD lawn & garden tractors.

DOC in Kentucky

I filled mine with 8 x 50# sand bags. Then I detach it on a HF four wheel dolly so it can be easily moved around the shop when not in use.

Actively trying to trade this tractor for a farm tractor or a smaller tractor with nice attachments. Thanks
