THE CART IS STANDING UP ON THE SIDE OF THE TRACTOR PIC AND THE SICKLE BAR IS HANGING ON THE WALL. I HAVE NOT SEEN IT YET. JUST HAVE PICS. I DO KNOW THE MOTOR WAS UPGRADED TO AN 8 HORSE. stevasaurus 22,813 #3 Posted March 12, 2014 Everything looks to be in great shape...do not see the cart in the pictures. I would think top end is about $1500. Blower $200 to $300, Sickle Bar $300, mower deck $150, Tiller $350, Cart $100 to $200, Horse looks great, tires, weights, seat all looks good. $400 to $500. The mower deck will be ok with the *HP. If you think about it you are buying a tractor and four implements , a cart, a Tiller (I do not see a snowblower in the pics), a mower deck -side discharge, and a sickle bar mower (42 0r 50 inch not sure from photo). You can get good 8 HP Wheel Horse tractors with mower decks and a Kohler engine for under $700. They pretty regularly listed on Ebay or Craigslist. I agree with everything BMS is saying but I would start at $1250 and see if you can end up at $1500. As nice as that tractor is, its only an 8 HP. I would put its value at $150 without a deck and $300 with the 36" deck. If it was a 10 or even a 12 horse I would give 4 to 500 for it without anything in its present condition... rmaynard 15,576 #8 Posted March 12, 2014 About three years ago, I saw a C-120 with tiller, 42" SD deck, bathtub cart, snow plow, snow blower, and a cab advertised for $1500.00. The condition was every bit as nice as this one. It sold quickly. My biggest problem with the set-up you have presented is that even with an 8 hp engine upgrade, you are still way under powered for the accessories. My neighbor had a C-81 (8 hp) with a snow blower, and the slightest grade would render it useless. He re-powered with a 14 hp. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Slow speed yes. My 753 has no problem with its sickle bar ...since I made it an 8 speed. You have to go slowly with sickles. I have a 7ft sickle bar I use with my Case DC3 Tractor (she is about 40hp) but with the sickle you are in first gear with the engine loafing. Tiller looks to be in great shape, hardly any wear on the tines, again 8hp is more than enough since you till in 1st or 2nd low range. We have a ford 3000 same hp as the case I can run our 7ft sickle mower in high 5 no problem why do you run such a low gear? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
can whlvr 993 #18 Posted March 13, 2014 I guess it depends on conditions of soil or snow,i run a tiller on one of my 414,sthe motor is in very good shape and at times she can be bogging down,even in low 1st,i have a 308 that the 8 horse blew apart years ago,if you want a worker I would not go lower than 12hp,i know lots of guys say that tha small blocks are plenty powerful,but it takes its toll on the small motors when working them all the time,i have had an 8hp,and still have a 10,12 13,14,16hp tractor,it is in nice shape though Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

More would have been better with the snow blower. I did end up putting a 16hp on it but that 8 went on an 854 and was still running strong 20 years later. Just price out buying the tiller, blower and sickle bar and you'll find that you have very little in the tractor and mower deck.
