Mr. 856 170 #1 Posted March 12, 2014 If I remember correctly the choke goes through the slot where the tank sits and then down and under the flywheel cover of the engine and then up to the carb. Throttle cable I don't remember. any help fellas? Also have what appears to be a leftover belt guide..........appears to bolt to something. Besides the guide on the clutch pulley what other guides should be in place for the belt?

Martin 2,133 #3 Posted March 14, 2014 I would search the gallery and see if you can find pics to help. Illustrated parts lists are a big help too. If members don't come up with anything, you could search the vast amount of info available on the forum..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

rmaynard 15,785 #5 Posted March 14, 2014 Here is a picture taken of the throttle cable when I had an 856. The cable came through the hole in the tray, under the tray, over the starter and muffler, and attached to the governor.
Mr. 856 170 #6 Posted March 14, 2014 yup that helps a ton. Thank you maynard. Didn't the ground wire go the engine? I see yours goes to the frame.
rmaynard 15,785 #7 Posted March 15, 2014 That's the way it was when I got it. I moved it to the engine before I sold it.
