Ken B 3,164 #26 Posted March 10, 2014 That is some fine art work there Neil and it is what I like to refer to as Old World Craftsmanship. Something you don't get to see too much these days but I see more of it here on Redsquare than anywhere else!
neil 2,410 #27 Posted March 10, 2014 Thank you everyone for the kind words . I plan to do another in a few weeks but next time it will be something different but still on the Wheel horse theme . I also plan to so do something on the same lines but this time it will be with Stained glass . I qualified to do stained glass windows some years ago but like everything else life just gets in the way .

Racinbob 11,179 #40 Posted March 11, 2014 Im thinking the cover of the calendar....... I agree! Did you just do the logo by looking at a picture or something and then piecing it together? I just showed my wife. She normally just makes joking comments about my 'toys' but she even said it was awesome.

neil 2,410 #42 Posted March 12, 2014 I agree! Did you just do the logo by looking at a picture or something and then piecing it together? I just showed my wife. She normally just makes joking comments about my 'toys' but she even said it was awesome. I transfered the logo onto a 4x2 feet ply board , then done the same with the WH lettering but had to rescale the size to fit by using an over head prjector to transfer image to board. Th dog sat on the senior seat is my two year old West Highland Terrior ( Skye ) she is totally blind from birth , but jeez she runs round the garden like she has perfect sight occationally i moved an object to a different place and she runs straight into it , i forget that she has to memorise the garden layout , so any changes & she doesnt see & crashes straight into them . She has often run full steam straight into one of my tractors . Breaks my heart when i see it happen . Than you all for the complements on the mosaic
