papaglide 542 #1 Posted February 27, 2014 The air cleaner on my 417A doesn't line up with the hole in the exhaust shroud that is used for winter. Any reasons why this may be happening?
boovuc 1,090 #2 Posted February 27, 2014 Mine does the same thing. (Series I). I need two hands to "manipulate" it to fit the manifold hole.

boovuc 1,090 #8 Posted March 1, 2014 Oh come on, Pickle! Really! That simple! I'd rather force it into the hole but I guess I'll loosen the shroud when it's time to move it from summer to winter position. And you know what? Right now I can't freakin' wait to change it from the winter position to summer! I have had enough of this weather! A wise man said "don't let weather dictate your life". The author of that tidbit of wisdom probably lived in Palm Springs!
