MalMac 1,331 #1 Posted February 26, 2014 Just curious here. Was or is all the eaton 1100 the same or were there different versions released from Wheel Horse through the years it was offered.

sorekiwi 761 #3 Posted February 26, 2014 I have heard that there were different gear ratio's in some of the 1100's. Apparently the 520HC is geared taller than the one used in the 520H.
Kelly 1,029 #4 Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) Yes there are a few units with a different final drive gear ratio not just the 520HC, And I'm 99% sure the XI series tractor uses a 1100 but is set up completely different than the standard unit, as they are shaft drive, other brands also used the 1100, but your asking about WH. MalMac 1,331 #5 Posted February 26, 2014 Yeah I am just asking about the Horse. Was curious because my C-145 that has the Eaton in it VS. My 520's the 520 is just a little faster. Now taking into consideration that there could be different pulley sizes that I have not checked also the possibility that there could be a difference in whether or not the valve is getting opened all the way or not would also have an effect on it. Externally they seem to be the same transmission. Note: the 520 is not a HC.
