Lane Ranger 10,943 #2 Posted February 17, 2014 (edited) Some guys have fabbed up a 3/4 or one inch rod on a frame that attached to the rear that just hold the round lift weights with a hole in the center. They weld the round rod at and angle so the weights can ride without sliding off. Seems to work well on the tractors I have seen. The frame fab just depends on the tractor you have. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,026 #3 Posted February 17, 2014 There is a rear weight frame in the Bervac snowthrower manual Garry
rokon 64 #4 Posted February 17, 2014 I think the easiest way to do it is to get one of the super duty receiver hitches that tom is currently selling and then use the heavy hitch suitcase bracket to hang the weights off of. https://heavyhitch.com/store/heavy-hitch-accessories/suitcase-weight-bracket-for-receiver-hitch/
Tim 97 #5 Posted February 17, 2014 you could do something like this cut the end off a Reese trailer ball mount and butt welded a piece of flat stock with a couple of end caps to it works great also have the bervac weight frame- this is much more convenient

Tim 97 #8 Posted February 18, 2014 mike, did you cut up a plow frame to make yours?
sorekiwi 761 #9 Posted February 19, 2014 mike, did you cut up a plow frame to make yours? Yup, that was a badly repaired plow frame that I had acquired. It clips into the rear plow bracket (the wrong way around), and is held level by two straps that attach to the top straps of the plow bracket. Obviously it wont work with a plow, I use this with my blower.
