rear weight bracket pics

anyone use or make a rear weight bracket? i would like to make something to hold a few suitcase weights off back of tractor. something for some extra weight

Some guys have fabbed up a 3/4 or one inch rod on a frame that attached to the rear that just hold  the round lift weights with a hole in the center.    They weld the round rod at and angle so the weights can ride without sliding off.  Seems to work well on the tractors I have seen.   The frame fab just depends on the tractor you have.

you could do something like this

cut the end off a Reese trailer ball mount and butt welded a piece of flat stock with a couple of end caps to it

works great

also have the bervac weight frame- this is much more convenient

Yup, that was a badly repaired plow frame that I had acquired. 

 

It clips into the rear plow bracket (the wrong way around), and is held level by two straps that attach to the top straps of the plow bracket.

 

Obviously it wont work with a plow, I use this with my blower.
