Snow blowing tough on equipment

My sister is a wayward Green Bay fan...she would only agree with what you say about Green Bay.  :)

I caught Frank Deford on NPR the other day. He was talking about staying with the teams that you grew up with and keeping your allegiance to them. That is why I am still a Bears fan!

Reminds me of my favorite Green Bay joke: " Do you know why Milwaukee doesn't have a professional football team? Answer - Green Bay would want one too." :ychain:

I got a $40 gift card for Applebee's from the neighbor' s across the street for just cleaning the village plow droppings. When she goes to Maine, I get some special pancake mix.Got a bunch of cookies from the couple down the street last year

To get back to topic for a minute...I have been cleaning out the neighbor's drive all season.  I have good neighbors...Hispanic...I love Mexican food and I have spent a few summer days out there with them.  It is a different culture for sure...I have been trying to Americanize them, and they have been trying to Mexicanize me...not sure who is winning here. :ychain: They were generous enough to buy me a bottle of 100% AGAVE TEQUILA A RESPOSADO...how cool is that??  Not all neighbors are bad...sometimes your efforts are rewarded.  :)

I have been doing my neighbors driveways this year (finally we have snow!) and I have gotten a pie, cookies, a desert bread, and two bottles of wine. My other reward is that my 80-year old neighbor has not fallen in her driveway, my 70 year-old neighbor has not had a heart attack, and I have had fun playing in the snow!

Steve, we miss the Mexican restaurants out here as I I love Mole' con Pollo.  There is also no such thing as an Italian beef sangwitch either - and especially dipped! Can't have an "Al's" so I would even settle for a "Portillo's." Instead it's somethin' with Cheese sauce. :angry-soapbox:

I'll go for the milk jugs first because I know it will sound as good at it feels.

now there is a man with an attitude ,,

If he said that...I think the hammer was delirious from moving too much snow.  :tools-hammerdrill:

:confusion-scratchheadblue: it couldn't be the exhaust

Jackhammer...did you say "What Squonk says makes since."???  Mike, I would copy and paste that in a PM to Craig.  :ychain::) :)

You do know that Mike is a Green Bay fan??? :eusa-think:   My favorite Green Bay fan BTW. :violence-blades:

shallowwatersailor makes 3. All we  need now is a place kicker and the four of us could take them

I've gotten beer on a couple of occasions.......and honestly if my fingers were not always so cold....I'd have made a yeungling beer slushie to have why I plow. I guess that why I really need a hydro! And just have to throw in a comment since we have a little talk of football going around........here we go....guess who's going to the Super Bowl next year...black and gold baby? Steelers!

AND IS it just me. ......or does anyone else think that using your horse to blow the neighbors trash into a circular target ring would make a great Olympics sport..........you could do single stage, 2 stage, men's and woman's competitions! Closest to the center wins....difficulty points being awarded for paper vs plastic.

Or....you could see who could throw stone the furthest on the unplaced driveways.......... All you would need to do is add some white and blue to the horses...natural fit...go USA!

Well, you know that your good deeds will be rewarded now or later...later is better anyways! After posting this originally, I noticed another neighbor with his vehicles on the street running. His drive unplowed for the last 3 snows. His wife is handicapped and he is not in the best of health. Started up the 314 and decided.....what's one more? Nice thing about him not keeping up with it was that the layer of ice kept me from getting down to the stone and practicing for the wheel horse Olympics in the stone throwing event!

ok, regarding neighbors, no problems. re chainguard, this is my first year with the wheel horse and single stage short chute snowblower.

No problems with the chain guard. I do notice how it loads up with the snow. Speaking of which we are supposed to get more in the morning.

Btw, i did break the chain with a stone the size of a softball.    :banghead:     Glenn
