rdmanone 29 #18 Posted February 12, 2014 Not to rub it in but it's not snowing here in Florida. It's in the 40's early morning and 70's in the day. I would like to have a chance to play in the snow with the old wheel horse.
stevasaurus 22,685 #19 Posted February 12, 2014 (edited) Not to rub it in rdmanone...but I am going to plant palm trees here in Chicago this spring....the snow belt is moving south towards you. All it takes is a little shift in the earth's axis...and a small magnetic shift. Illinois is going to be the Sunshine State... WheelHorse_of_course 99 #24 Posted February 12, 2014 I haven't used my blower since moving to Northern VA. I have only used the snow plow a few times, particularly since my driveway is very short. SO those few times I mostly plowed the street, which was a dead end. I moved to a new place in November the driveway here is rather short as well. However I went ahead and put the blower on today. It took me some searching to find some of the parts (new house is bigger, but has no shed). One of the idlers had a few dents in it, and I could only find the old belt, not the new one I had on hand as a spare. I oiled things up and sprayed silicon on the auger and chute. I have to work tomorrow, but when I get home I guess I get to meet some of my neighbors!
