formariz 11,974 #1 Posted February 8, 2014 I am retrofitting a wheel horse with a K181S whch came from a Gravely tractor and carburater has a second fuel line inlet righ above choke area. It does have a choke in it like the others. Can anyone shed some light into its function. Thanks
oldredrider 2,548 #2 Posted February 8, 2014 Unless I'm mistaken, that inlet is for a tube from the breather.
Jparkes43 329 #3 Posted February 8, 2014 (edited) Yes I think it will be a crankcase vent breather because when a piston goes down it creates blowback and that meas that a little bit of the explosion pressure goes into the cranckase and without these breathers you would have a big problem because the crankcase pressure would build up and it would blow up. Hope this helped James Edited February 8, 2014 by Jparkes43
