Well today I started out with the plow, but it got ugly real quick, so out comes the blower to keep the CUT in the barn!  Actually I just wanted to play with the blower.

In those pics Im out on the lawn clearing from the house to the shop and I have the shoes all the way down, so no gravel throwin.  I did have it out on the drive and I did pick up some out there, it will throw the gravel pretty far.

I started out the day with the blade and made one pass and I was having traction problems (first time for that) and I knew I would not be able to roll the windrow without tearing up the lawn in the process, so I put on the blower, in those pics Im throwing what I had rolled with the plow and what had fallen on the ground, I was creeping along and the 16hp Kohler was on the governor hard.  After the first pass I was flying, that single stage was eatin snow,,, This 40yr old tractor is No slouch!

As long as the snow wasn't super heavy the blower is the way to go. I think I had posted it before but last week, I got the loader out and it was just taking so long to do my driveway it wasn't even funny. I was going to get the plow tractor but thought at 6:30 in the morning it hadn't changed over to sleet or freezing rain yet. I jumped on the C-175/Blower and moved the 7 to 8 inches off the whole driveway and parking area in about 25 minutes including knocking the snow off of her before putting it in the garage and driving to work by 8AM.

Now if I had waited to clear the driveway AFTER work with the sleet, freezing rain and rain on top of all that snow, it would have been a plow/loader job.

Your tall-chute works well. They are just a great blower attachment and judging by what I see on a lot of single stage green and yellow tractors, they work better. (Notice I said single stage green and yellow). :)
