These machines are about half done. Theay run great now and one has Matt's foot control. Also shown is the snow blower. I also have the 60" mower deck and mid mount grader blade.

The ventilated belt guard is not my idea. I saw a picture somewhere on the internet (likely on this site) and copied it. I used a punch for 1/2" electrical connectors into panel boxed etc that require a 3/8" pilot hole. The end result is a slightly over 3/4" hole. Likely too big as you could get your fingers pinched in the belt but you sure can feel lots of air coming out so it must be a good thing.

Tires on the front machine are real bad but I have new fronts as shown and will be replacing the rears soon.

Motors have had the carbs rebuilt, valves set. One replacement head (plug was stripped, used head cheaper than helicoil set), one new coil, one new fuel pump, one new regulator, one set of ignition wires. They now run good, no knocks no smoke. One machine has about 360 hrs, of snow blower only use, the other around 650 of unknown but I think mower mainly use.

Cleat, Looking real good, cant wait to see the final product. I think one day if I ever come across a  somewhat low hour 520 I would like to get it. Those son of a guns would make a great snow blowing beast. Imho

The way you have them lined up it looks like an assembly line in the WH factory!  Very nice job

I don't really need 2, I bought one with the snow blower and I bought the second one for the 60" deck and grader blade but found out it also had the reduction steering and swept front axle as well as the upgraded lift for the deck. I got both for $550.00.

However, I now have much more into them but  they should be good machines when finished.

I also have a Ford LGT165 that is fully restored and used to mow grass.

Thanks, Cleat

Car in the background is my baby. It is a 1986 Mustang GT convertible. It currently has around 63,000Km on it and is all original except tires and battery.

All three of those machines are looking good and should last you many more years. I like your roll around tool boxes too!

I have two, and I am still looking for number three!

Have to laugh at your list of replacement parts--basically one of every possible electrical component.

Just like me.

I can't believe you got both for $550.

The last one that I saw here sold for $1000, and it never had a filter or drop of fluid replaced in it's entire life!

Yes, I can't wait for the white stuff to melt and grass to turn green again.

Fun as it is to blow snow I would really rather mow grass and tour around with the top down in the Mustang.

This is out of order as I just found these pictures.

I took these at the farm where I bought the poor thing while waiting for the owner to arrive.

These are some pictures of the 520 I bought for the 60 inch deck and grader blade. I don't have a picture of the blade but aside from some surface rust it is perfect.

In the pictures at the start of this thread this is the rear machine as it started out.

Poor deck was laying upside down in a heavy horse pasture. Seems to be in good shape, all pulleys turn nicely, no holes.
