ThreeHorses 20 #1 Posted January 30, 2014 I got a replacement fuse block from Smith's Auto Parts. I started the replacement and have a question. There is a jumper connection on the existing contacts from the 30amp slot to the 25 amp slot. The fuse block from Smith's doesn't have this. What do I need to do? Thanks for any help, Rich
Martin 2,131 #2 Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) i would run an extra wire from the 'jumper' side of the 30 to the same side of the 25, effectively the same as the jumper does. you should be able to crimp two wires in the one terminal. you could splice back from the fuse block or another possibility is to run the 30 amp feed wire to a terminal block first then and run two wires from that to those two fuses. those fuse blocks are available with the terminals on the feed side in a strip from some of the electrical supply houses. you just cut off the strip what fuse circuits you want jumped ( in this case that would be the 30 and 25) and run single terminals in the remainder circuits. this one is from Delcity..... http://www.delcity.net/store/search/p_10898.h_25083.t_1.n_y.jsp?item=73895 the terminals are available as well. not sure if there would be a compatibility issue between them and your block though.... http://www.delcity.net/store/4!way-Fuse-Block-Terminal-Strip/p_11129 Edited January 30, 2014 by Martin
