wheelhorsekid 141 #1 Posted January 26, 2014 What have you guys found to be the best option? The square box to connect the rims or the shaft that bolts right on the hub?
daveoman1966 3,751 #2 Posted January 26, 2014 I don't know which style would be better. I have a SQUARE set listed on flea-bay right now. It is item # 131091180869. These are well-made and should suit your needs.
wheelhorsekid 141 #3 Posted January 26, 2014 These seem simple to install and use, but I'm worried about the rim tweaking. Have you had any experience with that?
AMC RULES 37,130 #4 Posted January 26, 2014 Run square sets on a few of my 's, over all kinds of uneven surfaces... very stable, and no issues of the rims deforming to report here.
daveoman1966 3,751 #5 Posted January 26, 2014 Each adapter takes FOUR 5/8" dia carriage bolts between the rims. When mounted, the two rims are about 1/2" apart or maybe a bit closer together. I have not had experience with either style and, therefore, cannot speak as to one type being better than the other. Here is another pic, showing the 4 tubes of each adapter. These are NOT thin-wall tubes and NOT flimsy by any sense of the imigination.

dandan111 31 #7 Posted January 27, 2014 I had a cub cadet that had a factory dual wheel kit. I should have kept them but I really had no use for them. They looked nice on.
