Had lots of fun in the snow this weekend!

Well, we finally got our first big snow here in Northern Indiana this year and I have to say, I for one enjoyed all the snow on Sunday! Got to have a TON of seat time on the Bronco 14 on Sunday night and it came through like a champ (even when the snow came up to the top of my 42" blower!). I do have to say though, I don't think I would have wanted much less than 14hp this time around (However, my 14 hp needs to be rebuilt, so I am sure it was not running as strong as it could have been). Ended up clearing 4 driveways out and a good portion of the street. After that, dad and I took out his Jeep to do some 4 Wheelin' in all the fresh snow! Sure was great to see a 42 year old tractor handle the snow with ease! ;)

Anybody else have a good time clearing out snow this weekend? If so, got any pics to share? I would have taken pics, but it was just too late and dark.

Only got 1" to 2" of snow here in the southern part of the state. Didn't get enough to even get the WH's out.

Kind of glad, as it was below 0 and windy....would have froze my extremities! We are not use to these kind of temps....Now I remember why I like summer better!

I like the snow (cause I get tractor seat time), but definitly do not like the cold temps! It was about 20 when I blowed on Sunday night, so it was bearable.

I got to use a newly purchased C160 with 42" snow blower. I purchased the 77 C160 off of CL on New Years eve and it was definitely a like saver this past week. With my wife on a 414-8 with a blade and the C160, we were able to keep up with 17" of snow here in Livingston County, MI. This was my first experience with a blower and I was truly amazed. We cleared 6-7" Sunday morning; another 6" later that afternoon and than cleaned up another 4-5" on Monday morning. I doubt that we will see this again anytime soon but it is sure good to know that we can handle it again if we do.

This was my first big blowing session as well and I was very pleased with how the blowers do! Could not ask for better! I had purchased my Bronco 14 and blower set up only a short time ago as well and was very happy with it! Sounds like you really got your share up there in Michigan. I don't think we got more than 12 inches here.

My 857 is in pieces for my restoration but I was able to fill my craving to do some plowing here in Southern Connecticut with my grandfather's Bolens 1225. It was pretty light and easy snow for pushing.

PLowing with that makes

me wanna use my 857 way more though.  :banghead:

I know the feeling Eric! The bearings went out on my blower and I had to take it all apart and put it back together before the snow came! Hope you are able to get your 857 done soon! Nothing feels as good as using a Wheel Horse! That is for sure! ;)

Great Action Shots Glenn!
