314 Handicap Ready

Recommended Posts

chazm

Had the 314 out yesterday plowing & it kicked azz :handgestures-thumbupright:  The brake pedal conversion worked great, the new chains bit without spinning once & the flashing taillights kept me safe  :banana-tux:

( as if they couldn't see my fat azz on a big red tractor,  :teasing-neener:  but better safe than sorry )

Yea I know the drill ...pics...pics...pics :wwp:  :laughing-rofl:

Brake pedal & linkage removed

New brake linkage install on clutch arm & adj. up. A return spring added to help the cheesy damper thingy

Chazm, nice job, good idea with that flasher. I like safety. Wonder if you could do that to the headlights to?

You can use any 2 or 3 prong turn-signal flasher from the auto parts store  :handgestures-thumbupright:

Thanks Chazm for the ifno. :thumbs2:    I will probably wire my tail lights to flash when I push snow cause I have to drive down the street to my neighbors to clean his drive. I don't want to get run over by someone texting or doing some of the crazy things people do when they drive.  :angry-banghead:

Jerry - the wire going to the taillights connects it to the X terminal on flasher & connect the taillights to the center terminal :handgestures-thumbupright:

The po of my tractor did the same thing. I can have the front and rear lights on or flashing, depending on the position of the 3 way toggle switch. If the locals get too careless, I may change the lenses to red and blue!  :law-policered:

You guys south of me near the Manson-Nixon line are getting more snow than we have in the mountains in Central Penna.

Why is that? But then again, I would rather get my seat time mowing than blowin' anyway!

Hold on........it's the Mason-Dixon line down there. The Manson-Nixon line is between Washington DC and California. I always get them confused!

Good work and nice tractor!
