Jan/Feb Lawn & Garden Magazine

Just got my new Jan/Feb edition of Lawn & Garden Magazine yesterday. Great issue. Wheel Horse is well represented. In the "Horse Barn" is a story about collector Chris Frock of Westminster, MD. and his Wheel Horse snowmobile (quite appropriate in light of the weather we are having here), a two-page spread with a great picture of a '73 10-8 in the snow in Oklahoma, and a Wheel Horse Essay Contest for kids 8 to 18 with the topic "What I Would Do if I Won A Wheel Horse"

Thanks Brandon and Kate for another great issue.

It'd be nice if mine got here today before the weather.

Yeah, Got mine a few days ago and read it from cover to cover....wife also read it.

If I was younger, I would enter the WH contest!

On another forum people were upset with the "new" L&GT magazine and talking about not renewing their subscription, but I like it and have renewed for another 2 years. I love the short 2-3 page stories on GT's and other related items.

Great Job Kate & Brandon and their crew of writers.

Yes that was a good story. Finding the new issue of LAGT in my mailbox always puts me in a great mood. More especially after a bad day at work :handgestures-thumbsup:

Just what is there not to like about the LAGT magazine? Brandon, Kate and their staff produce a great bi-monthly magazine. Although, I am partial to Wheel Horses, I really enjoy reading about all makes and models of lawn and garden tractors and the people who collect and restore them as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the Jan/Feb 2014 issue and I am already looking forward to receiving the next issue.

I would have to respectfully disagree with the above comment... I really like LAGT but I would suggest they find better writers... sometimes its painful getting through a story... the subject matter is on point but, the overall article structure is way off target.

I got my issue a couple of days ago and have been reading one or 2 articles a night so it would last. I think overall Brandon, Kate, and the rest of team are doing an excellent job on the magazine! I am under 18 still and saw the essay competition and may enter it! Would be a good excuse to go out the Wheel Horse Show in PA if I won the tractor! LOL! I have always liked the B-80's alot and I already have a nice 36" rear discharge deck just waiting for a tractor. As mentioned above, I am a Wheel Horse guy as well, but have enjoyed learning about different makes of garden tractors through the magazine. Always look forward to getting our copy in the mail and definitely will be subscribing for years to come! ;)

I really enjoy the magazine myself, though its pretty easy to see they are affiliated with green. Maybe its just me but sometimes it seems its green overkill. :angry-nono:

So far it hasn't stopped me from buying it. :)

Ken, totally agree. I really enjoy the magazine as well, but I do find it very green heavy. It reminds me of the kid in school the teacher always favored.
